Synopsis
The volume deals with various aspects of student assessment and language proficiency in the glottodidactic process, as well as problems faced by foreign language teachers at different stages of education. This volume includes texts by Authors who are researchers of learning and teaching processes at an academic level, as well as those who are more oriented towards practical considerations regarding the evaluation of language proficiency in the context of language learning at university classes or at school. The monograph covers two main thematic areas: the issue of different forms of evaluation and validation processes of language measurement tools, and presents the problems faced by teachers in specific cases, illustrating them with possible solutions through the use of innovative forms of student evaluation.
