Streszczenie

This volume presents a selection of research papers from the 6th Polish Conference on Artificial Intelligence (PP-RAI 2025), held on April 7–9, 2025, at the University of Silesia in Katowice, Poland. The conference brought together researchers and practitioners in artificial intelligence and machine learning fields, offering a platform for the exchange of research results and in-depth discussions on emerging trends and future directions of AI/ML, both in Poland and internationally. The scientific program comprised plenary lectures, thematic panels, poster sessions, and parallel oral sessions. Out of 195 submissions representing 17 thematic tracks, 51 papers were selected for inclusion in this volume.

Rafał Doroz (red.) - Uniwersytet Śląski w Katowicach

Is a professor at the Institute of Computer Science, University of Silesia, where he also serves as Director of the Institute. He has gained international experience as a visiting professor at the University of Calgary, Canada.
His research interests include artificial intelligence, biometrics, image processing, and machine learning, with a particular emphasis on algorithm development and their applications in security and biometric recognition systems. He has authored over 90 publications in leading international journals, serves on the program committees of scientific conferences, and has participated in research projects funded, among others, by the National Centre for Research and Development.
In addition to his research activities, he is actively involved in teaching and outreach initiatives, promoting modern technologies among secondary school students. [13.01.2026]

Beata Zielosko (red.) - Uniwersytet Śląski w Katowicach

Is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Computer Science at the University of Silesia in Katowice. She is the head of a research group specializing in decision rules for knowledge discovery and representation. From 2011 to 2013, she served as a Senior Research Scientist at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in Saudi Arabia. She is a coauthor of four research monographs published by Springer and over 60 publications in peer-reviewed journals and international conference proceedings. Beata Zielosko serves as a member of the program committees of international conferences and contributes as a session organizer.
She also participates in national and international projects, both in the area of educational activities and scientific collaboration.
Her research interests include rule-based models for centralized and distributed data, knowledge discovery, feature selection, and artificial intelligence.[13.01.2026]
