This publication is result of a successful collaboration between Książnica Beskidzka and city of Bielsko-Biała.

Not just for children. The Animated Film Studio in Bielsko-Biała in the years 1947–1970 is a monographic publication that presents the history and output of the studio. It is a comprehensive presentation of several key themes closely related to one another, such as the development of the stylistics of animated films; development of animation techniques and production base; variability of the themes addressed in the film; reception variability of recipients. Taken as a whole and in the context of changing socio-political realities, the above themes represent as complete a description as possible of the characteristics of the Bielsko-Biała studio in terms of domestic and foreign animation.
