Synopsis

The book focuses on the publication of entries documenting admissions to urban law in Sieradz between 1475 and 1539. The main part of the book consists of a critical edition of the source text—a printed version of the Latin text transcribed from the manuscript and carefully edited.

Author Biography

Karol Nabiałek (oprac.), University of Silesia in Katowice

Assistant professor at the Institute of History, University of Silesia (since 2017). His research interests include the medieval and early modern history of Poland and auxiliary sciences of history, particularly the management of royal estates, urban history, history of castles, historical geography, and the editing of historical sources.
