Communication is the central structural element of a democratic system. Today, the ancient agora has been replaced by mass media, which have become the most important mediator between political actors and audiences (citizens). We derive our knowledge of politics primarily from the media, which not only provide information but also organise discussion and public debate. The script consists of 10 chapters, the content of which may become the subject of lectures and classes.
