Synopsis
The monograph attempts to show – on the basis of research carried out in Ruda Śląska – the differences between the expectations towards employers and the issues of professional activation of the unemployed from the Baby Boomers generation (born before 1965) and the unemployed from the Z generation (born after 1989). Empirical research was carried out on representative samples of the unemployed and allowed for the formulation of a number of recommendations relating to undertaking activities in the field of professional activation. The differences between younger and older unemployed have been shown in terms of expectations towards employers and the labor market, and in terms of potential participation in activities related to professional activation.
