Synopsis
Can the COVID-19 pandemic be compared to the Spanish Flu? How can we define "social distancing"? How has the space of the home changed? What role have new media played, and how have they changed? And finally: how has our present day, our rituals, work and fashion changed?
"Cultural and Social Contexts of the COVID-19 Pandemic" has been born out of an interest in the changes brought about by the "new reality." The author has analyzed the most important areas of everyday life in which new behaviors associated with the need to adapt to this unusual situation have taken root.
