Synopsis

The book addresses the shifting relationship between Catholic identity and the use of media and media platforms within the contemporary digital landscape. It presents a comparative analysis of traditionalist and post-conciliar Catholics, examining how both groups engage with media and media platforms to construct, express, and sustain their religious and social worlds. By situating media practices within broader cultural and theological contexts, the author reveals the tensions and continuities that shape Catholic discourse in an era of dynamic technological change.
