Synopsis

This monograph examines the English freezing injunction and its recognition and enforcement in Poland after Brexit. It analyses the legal framework, case law and interaction between Polish, EU and UK law, and proposes a coherent model for adapting this powerful interim measure to the structure of Polish civil procedure. The book combines academic rigor with clear practical guidance for courts and practitioners.

Author Biography

Anna Bicz-Kordonets

Doktor nauk prawnych, specjalizuje się w postępowaniu cywilnym, w szczególności w postępowaniu zabezpieczającym oraz uznawaniu i wykonywaniu zagranicznych orzeczeń i środków zabezpieczających. W latach 2016–2017 odbyła stypendium naukowe w Nottingham Trent University (Wielka Brytania), prowadząc badania nad konstrukcją i funkcjonowaniem freezing injunction. Autorka publikacji z zakresu postępowania cywilnego i alternatywnych metod rozwiązywania sporów, w których łączy podejście dogmatyczne z perspektywą praktyki. [29.12.2025]
