She conducts research on international cooperation between Slavic countries in the 20th century (primarily in the context of the idea of Slavic unity). Her academic interests also focus on issues of historical education in the face of conflict, including methods of popularising knowledge about the past in difficult social and political contexts. In this area, she is implementing the project titled ‘Historical and Social Education Centre’, which was awarded the Historical Event of the Year 2023 prize in the ‘Education’ category. She is the editorial secretary of the academic journal ‘Wieki Stare i Nowe’ [Old and New Ages], a member of the Upper Silesian Historical Society and the Interdisciplinary Centre for Education Research.
