This handbook is a practical resource for the treatment of stammering in school-age children, based on the Blank Centre CARE™ Model. Its four sections correspond to the pillars of the CARE model and contain suggestions for therapeutic goals, activities and materials to be used in therapy. Particular emphasis is placed on the experiences and needs of children who stammer, as well as guidance on involving parents, teachers and others in the child’s environment.

This handbook is a practical tool for specialists in delivering therapy that enhances a child’s agency, their freedom to communicate and their full participation in everyday life – in line with the Dream. Speak. Live.® philosophy
