Synopsis

The second volume of a popular science series on language and communication aimed at younger audiences, laypeople, and foreigners. The second volume explores pragmatic issues. Brigitte Schniggenfittig, Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg

Studied linguistics and translation studies at the Humboldt University of Berlin. She is a translator. She teaches Polish and German at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. [4.05.2026]

Jörg Wagner, Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg

Completed a teaching degree, specializing in German and English. He then defended his doctorate in applied linguistics. He teaches linguistics at the Institute of German Studies, University of Halle-Wittenberg. [4.05.2026]

Violetta Ciecińska, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań

Studied German Philology at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. She is an assistant professor in the Department of German Language at Adam Mickiewicz University. She also completed Postgraduate Studies in German Language Translation at the Institute of Applied Linguistics at Adam Mickiewicz University. [4.05.2026]

Miłosz Woźniak, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań

Studied German Studies and completed postgraduate studies in translation, and holds a PhD in German linguistics.
